Pilot testing of tasks for the learning application in the ESTEAM project

In May, all three participating countries in the ESTEAM project - Portugal, Slovenia and Norway - carried out the first testing of the prepared tasks for an emerging learning mobile application. This time, the testing was carried out in paper form - in the form of worksheets.

In the testing carried out on 7 May in Portugal, 18 May in Slovenia and 28 May in Norway, students aged 12-14 participated. The first tests were done by Portuguese partners on their way to the idyllic village of Monsanto in the municipality of Idanha-a-Nova, with pupils from the elementary school José Silvestre Ribeiro from Idanha-a-Nova. Next, the pupils at the Črni Vrh nad Idrijo Primary School tested the tasks on the Karst forest trail. Finally, tests were completed in Norway with Husabø Ungdomsskole with students at Hestnes and Egersund.

In the end, the participating pupils also evaluated the tasks and the method of work. Feedback from students will serve us in the second part of the project when a prototype of the learning mobile application will be prepared and tested. The final product will be available in September 2019.
